This is a software tool that extracts images from a PDF document.
AWinware PDF Image extractor is Windows utility that can export images out from a PDF files in a bulk. There is no need to individually cut and paste the images one by one manually. The tool will save images in specified file location on your hard disk. The image formats can be bitmaps, JPEG or TIFF. This tool is a standalone program that does not need the help of Adobe Acrobat tools in any way. All you need to do is to add the PDF files from which you want to extract images, into the program, assign a destination filepath and click on the “extract images” button. All the PDF versions v1.6, 1.7 and 1.8 etc. are supported.
The trial version has the same functionality but it adds a watermark on the images. The paid version will not have this limitation. The interface is completely intuitive. The main display area is reserved for the list of PDF documents being processed. You have add and remove buttons. Add folder button lets you add a folder of PDF documents into the processing. File name, number of images in each and the filepath as well as if the file has a password are indicated on the screen. The output filepath could be the same as the source folder or you can specify one for this purpose. The tool works well; a log of events during the extraction process would have been useful. It is quite a handy tool.
